No-Man's Land
The places between the territories, consisting of the barren looking fields that surround the divide. Most of the out of territory battles between the two packs take place here. Otherwise, unless intentionally trying to seem suspicious, most pack wolves avoid this area, not wanting to give the improper impression of spying on or planning to invade the enemy.

The Divide
This river runs directly through the center of the valley, evenly splitting the land in two and creating a natural divide for the packs, hence it's name. As the closest water for most creatures that call the valley home, there is an abundance of wildlife that flock to its location no matter what the time of year... and most skirmishes between the pack tend to take place here for that reason. It the rainy months, the river swells to twice it's size, and most don't dare to cross. In the hot summer months, it dries up to a thin, meandering stream of water surrounding by bog-like land. In the winter, it partially freezes, but the ice is not solid enough to stand on, so be warned.

Antler Pass (HG)
Up north, just barely touching the borders of Dark Pack territory, there is a grassy, field-like area where a large elk herd roams. They typically stay all throughout the year, making them the only herd available during the winter months.

Emerald Ridge
The eastern mountain range that borders the valley. Unlike its sister, the Emerald Ridge is grassier and has far more plantlife with slightly softer rises, though it still gets pretty high in altitude and has numerous cliffs. Many different caves and cave-like structures can be found among these mountains that would make good dens for wanderers, much like the cave that Light Pack calls home. However, these caves also make good homes for predators.

Shadowed Heights
The western mountain range of the valley, containing sharp ridges, steep, rocky cliffs, and only a mere splatter of trees at it's basin. More predators than prey make their home here, such as mountain lions and grizzlies, and if that wasn't enough to dissuade one from patrolling them, the high, frigid altitudes, gusty winds, and unstable footing might.

The Flatlands
In the very north, as the land slowly begins to level out and the current of The Divide slows, the water pools and spreads, creating a flat marshland with a small pond. Traversing the land here can be challenging, as even in the drier months, one's paws can still sink into the muddy landscape. In the rainy months, just as with The Divide, The Flatlands flood, meaning most travelers will have to wade through muddy water up to half their height. As such, most only come to drink from the slightly cleaner pond or to hunt the various forms of aquatic/amphibious life here.

Vagabond's Pass
A southern rocky mountain pass that marks the entrance to the valley. Tall, impending mountain ranges loom on either side, casting dark shadows into the pass and threatening to crush a wanderer beneath fallen boulders should they speak too loudly.

Iris Knoll
A small hilly area in the northeast blanketed in a wide array of beautiful flowers. The hills here would be good for den making and are already home to many rabbits and other burrowing creatures.

Birch Forest
South of the Light Pack territories, there is a sizable cluster of birch trees spanning from Emerald Ridge to No Man's Land. The birch trees here are thin and well spaced apart with little foliage to block out the sun, making them more of a landmark than a place to seek shelter or shade.

Land outside of the territories. Note that a major reason for the war is the right to resources, meaning any land worth fighting for has already been claimed by the packs, making loner land more barren and more difficult to live in.
